Pimp Your IV Pole - Assistive Device Hack

polka-dot duct tape!
 1.  Duct tape - find a pattern you like, and tape strips vertically* up and down the pole, sticking to metal spots only. - -  This is only for poles you do not plan to collapse and travel with or store later.

Tip *vertical strips take less tape and create less bulk than winding the tape around the pole.

2. Battery-powered lights - wrap the lights around the pole, and secure the battery pack onto your pump clamp with a rubber band (hairties work too!) - - this is an excellent temporary option.

These ones were a hospital gift shop score!

Lights are also GREAT for INPATIENT stays!
(I keep a set in my hospital go-bag)

The nurses LOVE the IV pole lights <3
